Leeds United A.F.C

The history…

Leeds United A.F.C is a professional football club that currently play in the Coca cola championship. They were formed in 1904 and they were called Leeds City FC but after a while they where closed down as they were accused of paying players illegally in the First World War. After a few months Leeds United A.F.C were created and had to start playing there football in the Midland league, which was not a professional league, it was semi-professional. After a while Leeds were granted a loan of £35,000 (which in them days was a lot of money). With the money that they got they hired a new manager called Arthur Fairclough.  Howson has progressed through the ranks at Leeds, he started in their youth system and now plays week in week out. Sometimes Howson is the captain at Leeds and plays with his heart on his sleeve. Since Howson has started playing for Leeds he has racked up over 150 appearances and scored 16 goals in his years at Leeds. Howson played a massive part in Leeds' promotion due to his goal in the final which took Leeds to the Coca Cola Championship.
